End of summer produce

Summer is now well and truly over. Temperatures have dropped and the rain is here. On fine days the buzz of machines in the fields harvesting olives and cutting wood can be heard wherever you go.

Last of the summer figs

Walnuts dried and ready for keeping

Prickly pear

The odd bunch of grapes hanging forlorn

Still some uncollected carobs in the trees

Apples ripe on the tree

Autumn harvest

Pomegranates ripe and ready
