End of summer foraging

Summer is drawing to a close - though with temperatures of nearly 40 degrees it doesn't seem that way today! Time to go foraging in the garden and the hedgerows and preserve the last of the summer fruit

Herbs hung up to dry

Walnuts ready for collecting

Careful of the prickly pears - spear with a fork, cut with a knife - peel the same way.
