Lunch at "Lemon Garden"

Down a little side street in Rethymnon, just off the main drag you will find "Lemon Garden" this is where we headed for a light lunch on a hot day.

A quiet oasis with quirky features

Lighting made from plant pots

We had a delicious orange, avocado and rocket salad

Tasty dips  of taramasalata, tsatsiki and aubergine dip with scrummy pitta bread

shrimp saganaki

Just enough for a light lunch in the cool of the shade

The shade was provided by, yes you've guessed, Lemon trees

Only trouble is that they occasionally fall off!

The little dog guarded the beers

A beautiful bouganvillia over the entrance
