Lunch at Kokkinos Pirgos

On our way to Matala for the recent music festival we stopped for lunch at the village of Kokkinos Pirgos ( Red Castle) just outside Tymbaki

The taverna overlooked the harbour

It was called "On Board"

Next door had a huge geranium bush

The taverna had a nautical theme

We enjoyed salad with Jack Daniels sauce!!

Peppers stuffed with Mizithra cheese

Kalamares

Fruit and Raki

Fred contemplates the raki
