Delfinia at Kalamaki

After our wander around Matala we paid a visit to our favourite little seaside resort of Kalamaki

Some empty sun beds at this time of the season

The sun was warm, but not blazing as in the heat of summer. Probably around 28 degrees C

The sea sparkled in the sunlight

We chose "Delfinia" to have lunch. It was full of Greek families, always a good recommendation.

The clear blinds were down protecting us from the sea breeze

A little dinghy was merrily sailing along

We shared fried courgettes

Which were served with corn bread

Saganaki ( fried cheese), Greek salad and tsatsiki

The oil and vinegar were served separately for us to dress the salad ourselves as we wished

Crispy, melty and delicious

We also shared a platefull of Kalamares

Golden and flavoursome

The decor was modern distressed, which fits well with the atmosphere of the village

We finished with complementary fresh fruit

We wandered back to the car

Passing a quiet kafenion

Admired the bougainvillea

Spotted the room in which we stayed on our last visit
