Visiting Gyropoulis

Need a snack?
We visited Gyropolis in Georgioupolis

On the square so you can "people watch"

Watch the changing colours of the fountain while you eat.

There is a range of dishes, but they specialize in gyros and grills

Pork and chicken gyros

Pitta Gyros and dakos

Having enjoyed the pitta gyros before we tried the belly pork and chicken souvlaki skewers

With Greek salad and of course - chips!

We love the mural on the wall

Takeaways available

The meat was delicious and tender

The chicken was delicious

Fred tested the tsigoudia

You may like to know:

Service: Pleasant, friendly and efficient.

Type of food: Traditional "Souvlazidiko" fare.

Prices, Extremely good - We ate and drank for about 8 euros a head

"Star ratings"- on the "Guzunder" scale 6.5.
- Clean, modern, doors have locks, toilet seats present, paper and paper towels available. ( A little taken aback by the huge wall mirror adjacent to the loo in the ladies!)

Complementary raki,  at the end of the meal

Raki on Richter scale 7. Pleasant, good flavour, a kick without blowing your head off.

Would we return? Yes, certainly.
